Who needs gmail invites?
I've got 9 just sitting around.

Maybe I'm clueless, but what's the point? I've already got my regular Comcast POP3 email account, which comes right to my desktop on Outlook (which I use for my appointment calendar, task list, and everything else in addition to email.) I've also got a couple junk Yahoo accounts I use when I suspect a spam attack, and I've got accounts through my business web site that just forward to my main account.

What's the big deal about Gmail?

Well, it doesn't melt your eyeballs out of your skull the way Yahoo and Hotmail do. And unlike most free webmail providers, it threads messages and provides free secure POP access.

But yeah, it doesn't sound like you're exactly in need of it.

OK. I was just wondering - I see it mentioned all over, but I've never bothered to see what it was all about.
