I'm MC GOP and I'm here to say, I love Fruity Pebbles in a major way
(CNN) — Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele says his party is going to launch an "off the hook" public relations campaign that will update the GOP’s image by translating it to "urban-suburban hip-hop settings."

After the speech, Mr. Steele then proceeded to, as he put it, "get jiggy with it."

...I think it's time to start preparing for a one-party America.

I don't think the Republicans will be that party, either.

I've been expecting that for awhile. The Republicans fade from prominence down to ~20% "market share", then the Democrats fission, splitting off the groups they'd absorbed as being "better than the other guy" in recent politics. What I'm most interested in is if this'll be enough to get us off of a two-party system, or if it'll just be the "liberal Democrats" vs. the "conservative Democrats".

Probably the latter. The current electoral system is heavily weighted towards a two-party system, and it's what has happened before (with one of the splinters absorbing the remnants of the old opposition).

That is a quite silly picture, but I don't think they'll buy that. :/
