RIP Kurt Vonnegut, 1922-2007

I haven't read a whole lot of his work, but Slaughterhouse Five and Mother Night were both fantastic.

Great writer. I've never picked up a work of his that didn't immediately suck me in. Maybe now would be a good time to crack open the copy of "Bluebeard" that's been sitting on my "to read" shelf for heaven only knows how many years . . . .

Oddly enough, I watched Ken Burns's "The Civil War" last week, and was amazed to see his name in the credits as a voice actor. Who knew?
