er than a dog. Last night I was puking every hour on the hour, if not more often, for nearly the entire night. Pure bile tastes surprisingly metallic. That + explosive diarrhea = not fun. I was begging for death.

Slept for most of today. I feel better (re: not puking etc.) but still pretty lousy. My skin feels hot but I'm getting chills. I'm guessing it's some sort of flu.

It could be a flu. Get well soon, Gwalla. Least the worst is over, I think.

Oh, that sucks. I got something like that last year. It was incredible how fast it came on.

My friends and I coined a term when you need the toilet AND the bucket. We call it 'skrewting.'

Yeah, this thing came out of nowhere and hit me like a ton of bricks. Fortunately it seems to have passed just as quickly.

"Skrewting", heh. I'll have to remember that one.

Sounds like food poisoning. Bleh.
gwallagwalla on October 30th, 2006 03:17 am (UTC)
Yeah, given how quickly it came on and how quickly it left, that sounds pretty likely. I have some muscle soreness, but it's mainly around my back and chest, so it's probably just from tensing up while vomiting.

Yeah, fast onset, lasts just a day, feels really bad, and leaves you totally drained.

I remember dry heaving from bad food from Culver's and not having anything to bring up. Bad, bad feeling.

Yeah, I thought I was going to turn inside out. It's like dry heaves, except it refuses to stop at just heaving. It wants to get something out, and by god, it'll get something out, whether there's anything in there or not.
