R.I.P. Latino Heat
Eddie Guerrero, son of the legendary luchador Gory Guerrero, was found dead in his hotel room this morning at age 38. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

He was one of the greats. 411mania has a nice obituary here.

Oh man... and he was looking so good a few weeks ago when I saw him on Smackdown...

Eddie'd had problems with prescription painkiller addiction in the past, but he'd cleaned up and there hadn't been any signs that he'd fallen off the wagon.

Apparently he was found in the bathroom with a toothbrush still in his mouth. They think he had a heart attack. He'd recently celebrated 4 years of sobriety from alcohol and prescription painkillers.

This week's RAW and Smackdown will be tributes to Eddie. Vince McMahon has said that Eddie's family will receive royalties forever.

At TNA Genesis, after they'd gone off the air, Christian (who made his debut earlier in the night) and Team 3D (a.k.a. the Dudley Boys, Ray and Devon) grabbed an "Eddie" sign from an audience member and led the crowd in chanting his name.
