The Japanese don't do things by half measures  
and this includes liking food.

October 30 has been designated "Tamago-kake Gohan Day" by lovers of the dish: rice mixed with raw egg and soy sauce.

Mmmmmm, egg and rice. Proof that the Japanese don't eat only weird things.

Man, that was proved long ago. Most of what they eat isn't weird at all. I mean, noodle soup? Breaded pork cutlet? Curry? Not weird.

It's not like they eat sushi all the time. Or even all that often (it's a delicacy, and rather expensive).
