Missing comics
Some of my comics seem to have gone missing. I'm sure I own the Hitman and Hitman: Local Heroes trades, but currently I can only find Hitman: Ace of Killers and Hitman: Who Dares Wins (the latter a recent purchase). Likewise, I'm positive I own at least the first and maybe the second Starman trade, but can't find either in my collection.

On the other hand, it appears I own two copies of Sandman: Season of Mists. The same edition, even. I dunno how that happened.

I really need to reorganize my bookshelves so my stuff isn't "organized" in piles on the floor.

You might try what one friend of mine has done with his various books and DVDs and catalogue them in a spreadsheet. He's had a much easier time keeping track of where everything is since he can check and see if it's on his shelf or lent out to someone.

It sounds like the problem isn't that they're lent out to forgotten friends but that they are cleverly hidden in random piles around the home. At least that was the problem I always had. :)

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I don't lend my comics out that often, but my rooms are a mess.

I think your system sounds better then mine which revolves around crates in the basement.
I have no idea how many I have as well as which ones, and I was genuily suprised last time I had the chance to get most of them up on shelves... for a short time.
I'm still looking forward to the day where I'll be able to manage a shelve-filled room for comics and albums only!

I have bookshelves. They're just full. I need more of them.
